My passion for photography began in my youth, inspired by my Uncle Marvin and his 35mm camera. At seven, I received a Kodak 110 camera from my mom, and I was instantly hooked. Growing up on a farm, I had endless subjects to capture, from horses to chickens. My childhood was filled with outdoor adventures—hunting, fishing, and riding horses. In high school, I joined the yearbook staff, discovering that a camera granted me unique experiences and access to events.

After high school, I pursued further education in photography, mastering various camera formats. My career as a senior staff photographer at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO, spanned 28 years. During this time, I traveled extensively, capturing stunning landscapes and incredible people across the U.S. and Canada. One memorable project in 2005 took me to Wyoming, where I fell in love with the National Elk Refuge, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone National Parks. These experiences deepened my connection to the outdoors and my passion for wildlife photography.

In 2019, I began working as a guide in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Kansas, leading tours and safaris that highlight the beauty of these regions. Now with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris, I continue to introduce visitors to the wonders of national parks, focusing on wildlife and landscape photography.
